"Death is Beautiful", the third independent album

Dear friends of old and new, and family on both the east coast and west,

Excited is an understatement to finally reveal this to the world!

It is not often that I get to write music that isn’t a soundtrack to a film or fitting a publisher’s brief.  Not only does it allow for full creative freedom, but also has the potential to push someone to self destruction.  This third independent installment since “Expect Nothing, Distort Everything” (2014), and my darkest yet, was just that.

Between now and then, I have learned much, scored several projects, and overall grown as a composer.  This project is a culmination of everything I have done so far, stylistically, fit into 13 tracks.

Musically, it is inspired by the scores of Bernard Herrmann, Clint Mansell, Abel Korzeniowski, Danny

Elfman, and the more gritty films of Guillermo Del Toro.   However, it is also a homage to the concept albums from the 2000’s emo rock bands, such as My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, and many more.

With that being said, I present to you the album, “Death is Beautiful”.

“Death Is Beautiful” is not just an album with tracks thrown in random order. It is a

tragic and macabre fiction, a dialogue between the riddles and sacrifices that come with love, loneliness, insecurity, depression, addiction, and, of course, death. The main character of this story is caught in a disturbing illusion triggered by the loss of their beloved. The dichotomy between dream and reality leads this character to perform disorienting and extreme actions until, finally, they commit suicide.

The first single, “Sleepless”, will be released In the coming weeks.

There will be limited edition physical copies for sale as we approach the release of the full album, along with the digital releases.

Stay tuned.
